You can trace Old Pueblo Sealcoating’s roots back to the summer of 1972. In the small town of Cazenovia NY, Chris Lutzelberger started his career in the asphalt industry with Skoglund Construction Company Inc.
15 years later Chris struck out on his own and formed his own company, Asphalt Surfaces Inc., and began laying the foundation for the exceptional reputation and workmanship now found at the heart of OPS.
Six years later Chris went to work for the Barrett Corporation and was a key player in paving 13 miles of the New York State Thruway between Syracuse NY, and the Seneca River.
In 1996, Chris relocated from New York State to Tucson and formed Old Pueblo Sealcoating. Chris’ hard work and determination over the past 49 years has played a key roll in giving OPS its outstanding reputation for customer service and workmanship.
